Redevelopment of area to include new casino/nightclub, retail, bars, restaurants & 84- bed boutique hotel
Delivery of high-quality regeneration project
The project comprised the regeneration of underutilised land within the marina to create a standalone nightclub/casino; and a waterfront building with an 84-bed boutique hotel, 50,000ft2 of restaurants and bars, ground floor retail units and access to the sea wall and marina.
There were a number of challenges that Quoinstone's expertise and hands-on approach helped overcome during the redevelopment of the marina:
The coastal location meant that weather conditions were, at times, challenging. This impacted on the construction sequencing and programme.
Constrained site and access for delivery and construction working space.
Managing relationships with incoming occupiers and accommodating their specific requirements prior to completion.
Utilising of off-site manufacturing processes for the hotel bathrooms and impact on construction sequencing and construction.
Completed on time and to budget
Work was completed within the overall parameters of cost and programme set by the client.
The programme has helped re-establish Brighton Marina as an attractive destination.
